The winning ideas for two research studies will be announced by the Presidents of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce, during an award ceremony at the Chateau Status on Friday 30th October 2009 at 12.00 noon.

The two research studies will be conducted by the "Peace Economics Consortium", composed of researchers from both the Greek-Cypriot and the Turkish-Cypriot communities. During this event there will be a presentation by the "Peace Economics Consortium" and a description of the methodology they will follow for the conduct of the two studies. A presentation will also be given regarding the current level of economic transactions between the two communities. The Chamber Presidents will be available to address questions related to the two studies, the "Economic Interdependence" project as well as more general information dealing with the economic relations of the Greek-Cypriot and the Turkish-Cypriot communities.

The Award Ceremony will be held in English and will be followed by lunch.
