Within the framework of the UNDP funded project "Economic Interdependence", the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce invite Tenders for the conduct of the following two research studies:

1. "Current economic interdependence between the Greek-Cypriot and the Turkish-Cypriot communities assessed and recommendations for reinforced economic convergence produced".

2. "Drafting of a framework for a JOINT Economic Development Strategy".

It is expected that the findings of the first research study will be used as important input into the second research study.

Language of submission of tender and research documents is English. Deadline for submission of tenders is Friday 18th September 2009.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Tender Documents shall be deemed to have been collected only if the interested economic operators enter their data (such as organisation name, address, telephone number, fax number, electronic mail address) in the relevant form and send the completed form back to the Contracting Authorities by facsimile or electronic mail. This should be done, so that the Contracting Authorities may have available a complete list of all economic operators who have collected the Tender Documents, in order to be able to send them any additional documents or clarifications thereon.
